It’s nearly November, the garden is closed up, and we had our first snow a few weeks ago. This is my favorite time of year— when autumn is in full swing— enjoying cozy evenings with candlelight.

All summer long, the backyard was swirling with hummingbirds. As September came to a close, I turned the calendar, and the hummingbirds took flight for their winter homes.

Oh, the wildflowers have been amazing this past month of August!
