There’s nothing like having a visit from a dear friend and getting to share some favorite spots with them. And— taking a personal day to go up to Canyon de Chelly was the cherry on top of a sunny September day! The photos include views from the trip to Canyon de Chelly— Spider Rock, Cliff Dwellings, Owl Rock, a colt in the canyon, White House Ruins, the pool at El Morro National Monument along with some views from atop the questa, mullein on the trailside, pinon popping open, ripe-red prickly pear fruit, morning moonset, backyard blooms, wildflowers, Ramah Lake, and a painting of mine of Ramah Lake (amid some smaller versions of Ramah Lake), and— of course— the pups!
