October Afternoon (haiku)

It’s true—so much depends on the little things… A walk usually helps clear the mind and lift the mood, and sitting on a rock is a wonderful way to ground oneself. And, the Milky Way reminds me to keep my head up, even when the flow of the river seems daunting and the path somewhat unclear. October started with the Fall Festival— a beautiful autumn weekend! Then, I packed up my art supplies at Star Garden Gallery and moved them back to the winter studio: aka the kitchen counter. A quick-moving storm brought snow, sleet, and hail— and a sudden end to the lingering blooms. School has been challenging, and I haven’t had much time for making art this month. I am looking ahead to some upcoming art shows in Gallup and El Morro. Photos from this month are mostly from the Fall Festival and the weather which signals the upcoming colder season. Stay well, and stay warm!
