A Wild and Wacky August

The monsoon moisture has gifted the ground with a blanket of wildflower blooms and the sky with ribbons of rainbow light and dusky cloudscapes. The backyard dahlias are a delight, as are the squash blossoms, tomatoes, and sunflowers! As for the wacky part of August—> I've had a bit of a roller-coaster the past few weeks at school... I was switched to a Kindergarten classroom and spent two and a half weeks deep diving into all the curriculum, setting up the room, Parents' Night, extra trainings, and working on routines and assessments. Then, on Thursday (8/25), I was told that I needed to move back to preschool... so-- I am working on moving back down the hall and re-setting up for my preschool world.
