The monsoon season seems to have started here, and we’ve had a few days with some light rainfall. Not enough to make the road muddy, but enough to provide a blissful drink to the plants and animals.
Here are a few photos of blooms around the house— both inside and out, and a view or two of the sky. Mom and I just celebrated the four year anniversary of when we moved out to rural Ramah, New Mexico. We love it here, and the expanse of fields and sky from our back patio truly reminds us of sitting on the bluff in Brewster, Massachusetts, looking out across the bay, watching the tide and the sun move across the day. While it’s certainly not the same as the waves and flats and tidal pools, the ocean-of-sky provides a similar sensation of expanse and calm.
Wishing you a warm and wonderful July!
