Star Garden Gallery: Art & Adventures under the New Mexico Sky

studio updates

So much in September!

Yesterday morning, I drove to Gallup to install paintings and photographs at 305 Fire Pizza. During the drive, I thought about how I am no longer in my “Ms. Sparks era.” How energizing to realize this shift from teaching and to have ‘my work’ be my art! I am grateful to have had these past few months to focus on Star Garden Gallery— creating art, applying for shows, attending artists talks, openings and open studios, filling orders from my online shops, learning more aspects of running a business, and making some new connections in the area. I’m amazed at how much has been percolating and emerging. It reminds me of the garden and the greenhouse— bursting with blooms— and the recent weather— with hail and rainbows! The photos from September include some of the dazzling dahlias, gallery views ( The Old School Gallery in El Morro, ART123 in Gallup, woven hoops and booth at Star Garden Gallery, 305 Fire Pizza in Gallup), notecards from my website, Etsy, and Redbubble online shops, 2026 Calendars on Lulu.com, land and sky views, details from some new paintings, and— of course— the pups! Have an extraordinary October!
