April’s weather swung between winter and spring. In-between the snowstorms, Zach assembled a greenhouse from a kit. The final freeze date here in Ramah is June 6th, and the first frost date of September 22nd comes up around the time that the squash and tomatoes are ready— so the greenhouse will give us a chance to grow more of our own food. It’s been fun to start planning, re-purposing items and planting pots, as well as some posts from a past project to create a small patio adjacent to the greenhouse. Zach had the idea to put some solar string lights inside, and I love the evening glow in this new, special space. This month’s pictures showcase the greenhouse, sunny and snowy days, nine of my photographs at the Old School Gallery’s spring show, and the pups. Here’s to a magical May!
