Azure Skies of April

We’ve had a bit of snow and a few windy days this month, but there have been magnificent skies to welcome the eagles and the hummingbirds overhead and the wildflowers and prairie dogs to the fields. We happily found homes for two of the puppies, and we kept one and named him Toast. Last week, we took our first hike with our three dogs, and last night we camped out in the backyard, following a campfire to burn some brush and make s’mores. The dog family is doing well, with lots of playing and snuggling. Zach created a fenced in area for me to have a new garden spot. Today I’ll plant some lavender and start the dahlias inside. Last Sunday’s art opening at the Old School Gallery was buzzing with attendees. After the reception, I took a couple of pictures to show you my three framed photographs of Sunrise at White Sands. Here’s to a merry, merry month of May!
