Over the past few years since I moved to rural New Mexico, I have branched out from my usual paintings, drawings, and photography— making items for the Star Garden Gallery Studio with elements of the local landscape. Using sage, lavender, and juniper from my land, I make bundles and wands and aromatic ‘Star Jars.’ I’ve also made soaps and candles to complement the theme of calming.
