This month has flown by, so I am sharing mostly views of the sky. A few photos from the Roy G. Biv Artist’ Challenge show— including my entries for Indigo (Fig) and Violet (Plum). There’s a tree on the way to Zuni that is festively decorated each holiday— here’s a photo the Valentine’s version, and a sweet Valentine’s Day drawing by one of my students (that’s me on the left.) I love the color and flavor of blood oranges, and we try to dry some slices each year. Zach made a big paper airplane to float in the living room, paired with some paper hearts and playful shadows. We’ve only had a dusting of snow, so the dust is starting to blow across the tan fields. The dry winter has allowed for more frequent hikes with the pups, and that makes them extra happy.
