Magnificent Mesa

From the top of the mesa that rises up to the north and west of our home, there are spectacular views of a ring of dormant volcanoes to the east, and of the valley below— with the town of Ramah and Ramah Lake. On the way up, the wildflowers are abundant, as well as the cactus and yucca in various stages of blooming and growing. At our home, we’re putting more plants in containers to avoid the hungry voles, and we’ve been collecting large stones to redo the back patio/ portal garden. The final freeze date here is June 6th, but the forecast looks promising, so I moved the seedlings and sprouting dahlias outside last weekend. My ‘artistic creations’ this month have been focused on end-of-the-year events for school— just a few more weeks until summer! Wishing you a lovely June.
