Putting in the flooring was one of the final steps in finishing the interior space. Feels good to finally have warmer weather so that this work could be done. Back in December, I had rushed to paint the walls and the cold temps caused the fresh paint to crack on the north wall. As we approached the solstice, the sun was low in the south, and the days were short, so the north wall just didn't warm up enough for the paint to dry properly. The long, cold winter provided plenty of time for me to research how to fix it. I found some paint products to help repair the wall, and then waited for warmer days. Once we got started, the work went smoothly, and then it was time for the floors-- yay!
